This course gives you the materials and insight to create a purse all on your own!

Starting from a basic tote bag and making it all the way to a small leather bag! As we progress you will be given the freedom to involve some of your own creative design ideas to make a bag completely your own! You will learn how to use basic leather crafting materials and use a sewing machine. These skills will all culminate into allowing you to become a confident beginner purse maker and leather worker! Classes are stand alone, so pick the week that fits your schedule or book all four!

All lessons meet in-person at 311 East Third Street, New York.
Vaccination is required for entry.

Week 1: Canvas Totes

In this lesson, we will learn how to make a basic tote bag. This will involve minimum sewing (we will help of course!) and lots of creativity!
