Judy Chicago is a contemporary feminist art, best known for her installation at the Brooklyn Museum, The Dinner Party, which features 39 elaborate place settings designed for celebrated women, including Georgia O'Keeffe, Sojourner Truth, Susan B. Anthony, Virginia Woolf and others. Learn about this epic masterpiece and create your own painted plate to represent your place at the table. In keeping with Judy Chicago’s salon traditions, we’ll be sharing our own ideas on feminism, creativity and our personal female heroes as we create our plates.
Tickets includes lesson, art materials and wine.
We are pleased to partner with Women of Culture for this event.
