Learn how to analyze and discuss Feminist artwork!
Learn how to analyze and discuss artwork created during the Feminist art movement of the 1970s and 1980s. Feminist art aspires to reform the archaic place of women in art and society, creating a new dialogue about the feminine experience. During the feminist art movement, women were able to establish new spaces and ways for them to channel their struggles in the world. Join us for an interactive workshop as we talk about bodily autonomy, advertising, and the concept of “women’s work”— and discover how these themes impacted feminist artists and their art.
