“The richness I achieve comes from nature, the source of my inspiration..”
- Claude Monet
Known for his groundbreaking approach to light, color, and atmosphere, Monet’s winter landscapes capture the quiet elegance of snow-covered scenes, where soft colors, reflections, and the play of light transform the cold season into a poetic experience.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn to capture the stillness and fleeting beauty of winter through Monet’s Impressionistic techniques. You’ll experiment with soft brushstrokes, blending colors, and capturing the shimmering light and cool tones that define Monet’s winter works. By focusing on light, atmosphere, and texture, we’ll explore how to create the illusion of snow, icy reflections, and the subtle colors of winter skies.
Ticket includes lesson and all art materials (including a 9x12 inch canvas). Coveralls/ smocks will be provided to protect your clothing.
