Gabriel Orozco is an artist who finds inspiration in subtle elements of the world around him.

Through a series of drawings called “The Diary of Plants” Orozco imprinted actual leaves on paper to create thoughtful mixed media artworks which pose questions about the meaning of life, as as well as humans relationship to the natural world. Through this simple printmaking process, Orozco records the intricate designs found on each plant, celebrating the natural beauty found in nature, which is often overlooked in cities.

Ticket includes art history lesson and all art materials (including a 9x12 inch canvas). Coveralls/ smocks will be provided to protect your clothing.

Foliage will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own!
