Wellness Session | Sound Bath & Lunar Art

  • ArtsClub DC 1506 19th Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20036 United States (map)

Join sound healer Khaki Martin for a relaxing evening in a sound bath ceremony to honor the New Moon / Solar Eclipse in Aries.

Experience a transformative sound bath with crystal alchemy bowls and angelic singing, beginning with a session on the science of sound healing and its connection to astrological energies. Release tension, ease anxiety, and promote cellular rejuvenation as you immerse yourself in sound. Then, express your intentions through watercolor painting and writing inspired by the waxing and waning of the moon cycle.

The benefits of a sound bath are numerous, including:

· Reduces stress

· Strengthens the immune system

· Lowers blood pressure

· Promotes emotional and mental healing

· Relieves anxiety

· Improves overall mood and mental processing

· Releases natural opiates and alters your brainwaves

· Promotes deep, restful sleep

· Creates an empowered sense of self and keen awareness of your energetic body

· Invokes feelings of love, hope, and inner peace

What to bring:

Bring a yoga mat, eye mask (optional), and wear your comfiest clothes. We encourage you to BYO pillow, blanket, and even crystals/special objects that you’d like to charge. A journal is optional but recommended to write down any insights.
